While having lunch outside by the refurbished Tides Restaurant, there were actually dozens of large crows flying over head! Also took a drive a bit outside of town and drove on the road that Tippi Hedron was filmed driving into town. In the movie, it looked like a paved road but in actuality, it a VERY bumpy dirt road...at least it is today. Also drove a few miles to Bodega, to see the schoolhouse, which is now a private residence. As I stood outside to take a photo, I noticed a sign that read "Please respect our privacy. " To which I said to myself - WTF???? As I snapped a photo, an annoyed face appeared in the window. Sorry dude - this is The Bird iconic schoolhouse and this will be my only trip to this location, and there's NO WAY I'm not taking a photo! Was sad to learn that Annie Hayworth's little house next to the school was never a real building, but rather, a movie special effect.bdseidel62@gmail.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04264021573128995199noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7250242611526133263.post-62005524950069728772011-11-01T13:33:28.921+10:302011-11-01T13:33:28.921+10:30kool!kool!Valentin Gaston "El Toro" Ciminieri 7https://www.blogger.com/profile/13487277772232287838noreply@blogger.com
